July 2018 Newsletter: Another fantastic month of fundraising

Hi everyone and welcome to InstaGiv’s July Newsletter. We have had another fantastic month of fundraising. InstaGiv is thrilled with the amount of money our charity clients have raised. We now have over 300 charity clients that use our services every day to raise vital funds for charities across the UK. We’re really excited to see how much more they can raise in the run up to Christmas.

We saw 115,785 inbound texts being sent throughout the month and 509,441 outbound texts. This effort saw an incredible £610,778 raised in July – I’m sure you’ll agree that this is a phenomonal effort. Well done to all our charity clients!

Single Giving

As many of you know, Single Giving is our one-off donations service. This is where your supporters can send a donation to your charity using your chosen text code from us. Our monthly subscriptions are easy, efficient and frictionless for both the donor and the charity.

One of our amazing clients, British Red Cross, use InstaGiv to process single donations via SMS. Supporters text a keyword to donate a specified amount. This has worked really well in emergency fundraising as it’s simple and immediate for both the supporter and the charity.

Another fantastic example of the Single Giving feature is the Ice Bucket Challenge. The famous fundraiser raised over £4.5 million in a matter of days. With our Single Giving product and the use of social media, the sky is the limit with any of your future charity campaigns.

Our charity clients just have to log on to the system, set a donation value and customise the messaging. You can send a unique and engaging message out to your supporters when asking them to donate. InstaGiv’s platform eliminates unnecessary time as your own dashboard will be updated in real time.

Competitions via SMS

Our second most popular product was our Competitions via SMS. This feature has really taken off in recent months with more and more charity clients getting involved with competitions, collecting entries and offering voluntary donations. Its simple and effective and InstaGiv make it really easy for you to do.

Inspire your supporters to enter a Competition via SMS to win a prize. We understand that fundraising has been modernised, so we have developed this unique and effective function on the software platform. This mechanism will allow your supporters to text to enter and give a voluntary donation also.

Let me briefly explains what the entire process looks like. A supporter can enter the competition by answering a question with either A, B or C with the keyword i.e. WIN C.

In both instances, a supporter is given the option to cancel their donation to the charity within a scheduled time frame as the donation is voluntary. You can also activate our ‘Pick a Winner’ mechanism that automatically generates 3 random entrants to be your winner of the competition. Whether you are announcing it over the radio or online, you can see within seconds who has entered via our online reporting tool. Introduce this product into your next marketing strategy on social media and watch your followers grow, tag their friends and aim to win the prize on offer.

How Instagiv use marketing automation to grow their business

We got loads of questions on how our platform actually works after we posted our ‘A Day in the life of Instagiv’ blog post last week. We thought we’d take you behind the scenes again and explain exactly how we help our 300 charity clients.

We often are asked how we create our colourful, bright and attractive landing pages, web pop-ups and social schedules. The answer is, it is all through Zymplify.

Their content creator lets us use our brand colours and develop marketing materials that are synonymous with our brand.

Without this platform, we must say that we would be well and truly lost! We are also able to schedule social posts to go out across all of our social channels two/three times daily, we can upload and cleanse email lists, create specified email campaigns with landing pages as well as post-entry pages and autoresponders.

June Newsletter: Another fantastic month for Instagiv

Welcome to the June newsletter, we have loads of exciting news to tell you! June was, yet again, another fantastic month for Instagiv and all of our charities. We have continued to grow and help our them raise an amazing amount of money for some of the UK’s best charities.

We’re delighted to say we welcomed 9 new charity clients in the last 30 days. We cannot wait to see them grow and use our services and software to raise lots of much-needed funds.

How much did we raise?

We have consistently seen the number of outbound texts climb above 200,000 which is amazing! This is through our outbound SMS tool, which is something we would heavily encourage all clients to use. It has various different options and charities can send outbound texts such as donation requests, response requests, address requests or just standard text messages. Outbound SMS and Single Giving were our most popular products in June.

Quarterly meeting

We had our quarterly meeting last week, where we looked at Instagiv’s performance over the last 6 months and what we hope to achieve in the coming months. We are so proud to announce that Instagiv is growing rapidly every day, and we cannot wait to see where it will go in 2019. We also have some exciting news to share with you all in the next few months.

Why not branch into text donations? Providing your supporters with the opportunity to send their donation via SMS is saving them time, effort and from having to issue their personal details.
