Never underestimate the power of saying “Thank You”.
Expressing gratitude and appreciation to your donors is very important, especially when trying to retain existing ones and acquire new ones.
A little message of thanks goes a long way, people like to have their generosity recognised and they also like to know that their efforts have not gone unnoticed.
When you receive a thank you in relation to a gift you have given to charity, it shows that they have taken on board your kindness. Many charities solely relay on the donations of their supporters and are extremely thankful for the differences that your gift has been a result of.

With SMS donations, there are always “thank you” bounce back response messages, which act as a receipt to the gift given. However, as this time of year especially it being the festive season, an additional genuine message of thanks can help inspire and motivate donors to keep giving.
