O2 to pass on 100% of text donations to charities

O2 have announced today that they will pass 100% of a text donation onto charities o2 100%. This follows a simalar announcement by Vodafone earlier this month Vodafone 100% This means that effective August 1 2010, 100% of a text donation via these networks will go to the charity. While we were predicting that the mobile opertors would reduce their charges following the launch of the first new 70xxx short codes and the removal of VAT in late 2009, the speed to 100% payout by the 2 largest networks is very encouraging.
